Default Getting in the market

Ok, I've decided to buy a 996tt as a daily driver. Most of my driving will be 4 - 5 hour stints by myself, so I figure I'll be fine with with the car. I crammed the kids in the back of my 997 and they were happy, so this will likely work for short rides.

I hate WTB ads as much as everyone else, but if you have an inclination to sell here's what I'm hunting:

Exterior color: doesn't matter much
Interior color: must be black
Trans: Manual
Mods: I'm open, but nothing super funky, I need to drive this car
Mileage: Under 75k
Price: Depends on mileage / options / PPI, etc.

My only hangup: No supple leather!

Feel free to PM.

Next week! I'll need to join the local group down there. I won't have many friends so it's a good way to start a network of car friends.

Still on the hunt, in case anyone has a nice coupe or cab they want to part with. I'd ultimately like black/black, but am interested in other options. Deal breakers are supple leather (don't ask me why, just don't like it) and tiptronic.

Thanks!

Default Supple leather swap?

I've got exactly the car your looking for --- except for the supple leather option. What would it cost and how difficult would it be to swap the seats with another option?

I'm getting ready to list my 2002 Twin Turbo. I just put the Speedtech 2.5 Quiet exhaust on. It has the S/S kit, PSS 10's Brand new rear PS2's on HRE C90's has been lowered and the paint is in excellent shape. I'm moving to a wet climate soon and the car is meant to be driven. I hate to sell her but I'm moving in a different direction in my retirement. PM me for more details if you wish. The car runs strong and I have all of the receipts for the work I've done and what the previous owner did. Seal Grey/ Black 6 speed.

Yes, my dream car is going to go. I really hate to sell her but moving to the Pacific Northwest and having to store her was one option. Life takes us on many journey's and although I love the car I need to invest the money in a vehicle that will be better for my Large Format Photography and woodworking. Can't see myself hauling 12' boards on top! I will be photographing around the country with four very large camera systems and teaching historic processes in retirement so I need something a bit larger. But the love will always be there. I have gotten some interest and the PCA meeting is this weekend in my region. The car is strong and looks great so we shall see.

Beautiful car, Jim! And you just put that exhaust on...someone is going to get a very well thought out, lightly modded, great car!

John, thanks. It is kind of a shame that I will be selling her but it makes sense to me at this stage of life. I will say that the SpeedTech 2.5 system really made the car special! I love how it performs now.
