Hey, sorry about that. I received your order - thank you.

The ***** are being sent to the machine shop on Monday for the shift pattern engraving, and they should have them back to me within 2 weeks, at which point I'll ship out to everyone. (The shift pattern engraving is a special order option, since each **** has to be matched to its own base shaft).

You have now; one hand on the steering wheel certainly allows a driver to safely control the car. And if for some reason a driver needs to use his other hand, it is always just an arms distance (or closer) away, depending on where the seat is set.

Watch this professional Rally driver in the video below. He spends lots of time with only his left hand on the steering wheel; many times with steering inputs of +90 degrees away from his left hand, while he manages the stick shift. And many times when he has two hands on the steering wheel, it is in fact his left hand that is making the majority of the steering input. I'd offer that most guys who track their cars never need to make the massive steering inputs this Rally driver does; inputs he many times makes safely and accurately with only one hand on the steering wheel.

I'll also offer that on cars with a steering wheel air bag, keeping two hands on the steering wheel when making steering inputs that cross the arms is dangerous if the air bag deploys (as in an accident) as the force of the air bag could injure/break the driver's arm(s).

Interesting... Personally, when my boost kicks in, I like to keep both hands on the wheel until I need to shift.

I make it a priority to keep my right hand on the stick when doing max. effort 1st gear pulls, because the 1-2 shift comes up really quick.

I also spend lots of time driving with one hand on the steering wheel (my left hand), even in the twisties.

Right are wrong I drive with one hand so often my wife and her mother just about refuse to be in the same car with me lol= scares the hell out of them .

My wife, son, daughter, and I all spend lots of time driving with only one hand on the steering wheel.
