Ok, so you guys were right : I had my car checked by a very good mechanic today and while we were talking, I noticed that the pentosin reservoir in the frunk was starting to leak again. That's it : accumulator and slave are on my shopping list, will do it asap.

Check out house motorsports slave that does away with accumulator and use of pentosin.

Ditching the accumulator, really ? But the price is very high, more than the 2 parts together.

Agree its high but could save you money and headaches if you plan on keeping the car for awhile.

^+1 what rmc said...

its not "high" relative to how often you will switch out accumulators and clutch slaves if you plan on owning for years. if you "may" sell soon? then just switch out the stock parts, if keeping indefinitely? ( i'll never sell mine ..well... lol )

then by all means look into that BBI part being distributed by house automotive in pasadena CA. thats the ticket and none of that "drill the crankcase" or silly bracket ( jerry rigged ) shenanigans.

best improvement mod on the market since.... i dunno. running mafless *can* be ( if all the stars and parts are aligned lol )
