Default Interior Overhaul!

I wanted to share what I have done to the interior of my car since I got it about a year ago.

First thing was the iPad in the center console. So awesome. I love the way it looks and functions.

Next was the center console painted to match the body color. Did it myself and am rather proud of the way it turned out.

Then I got some black 'Turbo' floor mats to break up the Savanna Beige interior.

Finally, just last week I received the T96 steering wheel, along with a refinished shifter, ebrake handle, and center console lid from Ivan at DCTMS. It looks fantastic!

Now for the pics!

Don't have many great ones from before I started (stupid, I know), but these will give you an idea. The first one isn't mine, but it will give you a good idea of what the interior looked like. The next two show some wear areas in the car before I started:

After!

+1.

Can you elaborate on the functionality of the ipad in the center console? Interior looks great, I always like seeing dark floormats with a light colored interior, as we all know beige or light grey floor mats get dirty almost immediately.

Very nice. Back in '01, I did a console color match on a Boxster I had. That is a massive job, removing first the soft coating and then the pebble finish. Kudos.

Would be very interested in seeing the functionality of the iPad in terms of car-related apps. Do you use Dynolicious?

For those of you who were asking about the iPad integration, this thread over on 6speed goes through the install as well as the basic functionality of the device in the car.
