Not me...I find that it ends up making streaks and is really noisy! I'm planning to plug mine. Eric from bumper plugs sells a plug if you'd like to remove the rear wiper.

Actually I think I'm one of the few people who actually do use it. My only complaint is that there is no real "on" switch. It is a press and reset button that only wipes a couple times. It's pretty inconvenient to keep reaching over to push it on.

I find it quite indispensible for backing up on a hard rainy day.

I use it often in the summer rainy season in South Florida. It is annoying though that every time you turn it on it only wipes twice.

All you guys with perfect weather should move to Ohio!

I wouldn't be very happy if my TT had no rear wiper. I use it, and am grateful for it, every time I get caught in the rain in my TT. Great for clearing road spray that collects on the rear of the car.

My only wish would be for a multi speed switch instead of the push button. It'd be useful to have a push-to-cycle w/intermittent and continuous as well.

I find Rain-X works considerably better then my miserable wiper.

Of course, if it had a water spray, and an 'on' switch, I would be happier.

I've tried Rain-X on 911s w/o it . It created a clearing pattern shaped like an hour glass. It also didn't help if the car is sitting and you have to back up or are driving in stop and go traffic or driving in light drizzle/fog here in Bay Area.

This ought to be an option - not standard - or you ought to be able to delete it if you do not want it. I owned two TT's and disliked the wiper, especially after the wiper inflicted a big scratch when I was washing my car. This happened because the blade was cocked at an angle with the wiper pulled away from the glass - I bumped the wiper and the spring loaded feature caused it to return to its "normal" position. However, with the blade at an angle the edge of the wiper will land on paint, not glass. Presto - pretty deep scratch.
