On the road and my Turbo is dirty...
Left home 12/16/2014 and have been traveling/taking care of family business ever since.
Turbo got the call and here's a pic snapped in a hotel parking lot in mid-Missouri. Car is filthy but will have to wait until I get back to warmer climes before it gets washed. It is currently 26F here and I'm not washing the car in this cold.
On way back west will have to avoid the snow/ice. The car is of course on summer tires. Faced this on the way east, which required I dip down south and take I-20 instead of I-40.

We spent a few days going through their private/personal belongings shipping stuff back. My sister left -- flew back to CA -- last Wednesday. I stayed to take care of some more family business. Come Monday I sell 4 vehicles and arrange for a relator to sell the houses.
I am hoping to be on the road and heading home soon. My hotel room bill is going to equal the GDP of a number of 3rd world countries.

Sorry to hear of your difficult time, not easy for anyone, but hang in there. Life brings along problems that none of us would choose but can't avoid.
You helped me with advice on a 996tt I was looking at seriously a couple of years ago, I still follow your posts with interest.

Macster, my condolences on the loss of your parents. I lost my father when I was 12 and my mother had a hard time with his loss. Thirty seven years later, I still hear her speaking to my dad when she is troubled. Taking your parents on one last road trip together must have made their spirits happy.
