X50 Option Value
#31
The x50 is a nice option for a person wanting a bit of exclusivity or the chance of collectability when the market for 996tts goes up= yes I believe they will lol. But for real performance your going to go with hybrid turbos at some point and god knows what else. As for the PCCB brakes they are not looked at favorably by a large portion of people here and elsewhere but with that said I would take an x50 car over non as I would keep it stock=great car!

another way to look at the difference(s) would be that ( and it would be hard to argue against this notion...lol ) is that the x50 car is just that much "closer" to being a gt2 ( a smidgen but a noticeable one ) than a stock k16. the re-map, and larger i/c's do make a nice bit of useable difference.
it's 30 factory added ponies that are viscerally real and if you a/b the cars, it's hands down on the k24 car any day of the week. all else being equal. that's worth $2/3 k for added value alone. that's my take anyway.. ( again lol )

hey rmc got gas today at 309 for super! we're getting nearer to pennzoil prices
this thread had me remembering the necksnap of the power surge when the k24's DO hit their stride! and it's pretty decent lol. but i'm so used to a much more linear power curve having now had 16/24's for the last few years.

309 almost as low as De/Md and as cheap as my one horse town. The roads are so tight/curvy where I am that I sometimes wonder why I own sports cars lol and lets not forget the Amish buggies. But the scenery is second to none=oh well.
