Default Boost Leak? Air hissing at .3 bar and above

I do not have any CEL and the car does not feel any slower than usual. I am seeing .6 or .7 bar on the digital readout.

when I am on boost I can hear a hissing sound from the back passenger side of the car. I put it up on a lift and noticed my boost hose at the lower intercooler attachment point was unsnapped. I pushed it back on with a click. the sound was still there when I drove home from work. I check the connection point and it feels like it is snapped on. Thoughts on where to look next?

Does it sound like a fluttering? I have something similar I hear around .3-.4bar, but it does away as boost picks up. I haven't found a cause, but I'm thinking diverter valves...

not a flutter, it is a constant "hiss" that gets louder as boost builds.

Well the best thing to do is a leak test, but without that, of course, check all connections. I would be leaning towards the DV's as well.

I was thinking a bad DV would sound like a honking goose.
I have never changed those and I am at 46k so it is an inexpensive first step.

the clips at the ic also go soft so maybe the "click" back didn't do it. i'd check there first.

I will put it back up on the lift and check the connection then do a smoke test. I am getting a new wheel bearing and the wheels repainted next week so I will have it all looked at then.
Thanks guys

Default found it.

My tech removed the airbox and found my car was attempting to eat this metal ring. Also found the hose for the diverter valves busted. Ordered a new one.

Are you doing new DVs as well? I'm about to do some 50-60k maintenance and was thinking of replacing the f hose and DVs with forge units.

I replaced my DV's a few weeks back with the 710N and couldn't be happier. It was just a preventative measure choice.
The F Hose was in great shape so I did not require to change that.
But what a pain it was to change out the DV's because of the clips facing the front side of the car. I eventually got them off and used screw on clips. I did not want to drop the engine for this job.
