Default Help! Drivers side lights stay on!

I have DRL lights on my Canadian vehicle and my drivers side rear tail light and side marker stay on during the day....weird.
When car is off all lights turn off. When I turn my headlights switch on at night all lights turn on accordingly.
When I pull the DRL fuse out all DRL lights turn off.
Having DRLs in Canada is a requirement but I look like a fool with one side of my car lights staying on during the day.....
I could really use your help and I don't want to remove the DRL fuse because when I do, my license plate lights don't work at night when turning on the headlights.
Appreciate your input!
Thanks

Are you parked with the left turn signal engaged?

Check all bulbs for good contact could be signal control or relay. Hard to find until you start checking.

Beat me to it. OP, are the lights on full strength or dimmed? Looking to see if the Euro style parking lamps are on.

I changed the side marker light bulbs and license plate bulbs to LED light bulbs. Do you think that's the culprit?

When you say Left Turn Signal Engaged do you mean my left turn indicator on?
Because my left/right turn signals work when I push down or up on the turn signal lever. I can see each side flashing.

Appreciate the helps guys!

Could your rear fog light circuit be faulted or maybe the light switch? Rear light on one side only is the fog light function..not sure how that works with DRLs

I don't think it's related. I reread your post and see it's with the car running. IIRC, when you key off the car with a turn signal engaged, it keeps the parking lights illuminated on that side.
