Thanks for the support! That is what I was hoping it would be. But we but a stock exhaust on it and the problem persisted.

Just had to share, for my own self pity. Week 7, no results.

I did have them install the new CSF radiators while it has been there, so that should be exciting.

As always any input is appreciated!

Thought I would mention. When GMG thought the cause was a bad turbo, they determined this by unhooking the wastegates one at a time while the car was on the dyno and noticed that the car still was not getting boost from one of the turbos. Now that we know the turbos were not the cause, what could cause a turbo to seemingly not boost when the wastegate is unhooked?

it's wierd you mention the wg's again, as i've been dealing with my own p1255 which is a wg related code ( boost upper limit exceeded" etc..

and just last night after the 3rd time of tweaking the wg's a 1/8 threaded turn at a time! FINALLY got my boost back to 1.2, whereas i was getting spikes to 1.4 on a 1.2 1.3 tune. not cool. my point ( if there is one ) is that adjusting the wg's on these cars is critical! my next stop was gonna be pressure testing etc etc. ugh. thankfully i'm good. you on the other hand bro .. still pullin for ya!

Thanks man. This is starting to become discouraging.

I have been looking at new mustangs if that is any indication of how frustrated I am.

Not sure if this will help, but I had a similar problem in my diesel truck. Turbo would just not make boost properly, even with the wastegate unhooked and wired shut. Looked all over for exhaust leaks, and it turned out to be some stupid EGR issue that was dumping exhaust back into the intake.

Fixed that leak and she started boosting correctly right away.

Could you have a cracked manifold that's leaking gas? Does anything change with the car warmed up?

I have a wastegates problem and am getting 1.4 bars in 5th gear on boost at high speed... and DV woosh/pop etc.

scssponger - I originally had the same problem as you on my old GIAC tune but I have had so many mods done since then and the problem was only a 1 day thing. Did they get to the solution yet. I would certainly call Tim or Proto or Kev UMW and ask for advice even if you still have the car at GMG

i have the same thing going on, so i'm laying off full ( over 1.2 ) boost since i'm not equipped for 1.5 either lol. gonna test for leaks. it's something above the y pipe. this *could* be a bad dv, but i don't think so. leaning toward possible n75. i'll figure it out, hoping by the weekend.

just part of the joy ... welcome to the club.
