Default Wheel well liner 996 turbo

Anyone know if this is the part??

http://www.autoatlanta.com/tinyresults.php?pn=99650457390;TB_iframe=true&heig ht=550&width=875

My driver side rear tire I guess rubbed the wheel liner, but it's only in the rear piece of the liner which I thought this was it. Just wondering if anyone else has replaced it??

Lol, I'm not buying it from them just seeing if this is the part from my various google searches. Thanks for the heads up though!!

I believe he's just using site for diagrams/part numbers I have ordered a few small parts out of courtesy since I too use their diagrams= a little pricy but no problems.

Just use a heat gun to heat the stock liner and mold it out of the way. My 315 R888's rubbed the rear liner a little bit by the turbo/boost hose area but some heating and molding fixed the issue. You can get even more clearance if you bend the inner most bracket out back towards the rear of the car.

Cheers,
Guys,
The GT2 fender liner is actually the exact same exact part as the TT liner (more expensive of course)! That is why you still have the hole in the lower inside part of the liner near the intercooler hose, as that hole is used with the longer bracket on the TT cars. The only difference on the GT2 liners is that Porsche drilled a hole in the side of the liner to accept the screw for the shorter GT2 bracket. The GT2 liner has the TT part number molded into the plastic with a GT2 part number sticker placed over it. Rob, take a look at the back of your GT2 liner and you will see the TT part number. I found all this out when I ordered new "GT2" liners from Germany since none were in stock in the US at the time, and discovered in the process that the GT2 and TT liners are one and the same. If you can drill a hole into your TT liner, you have just created a GT2 liner. The GT2 side bracket is the key to create more room as it replaces the longer TT bracket which takes up about 1/2" of room at the base of the intercooler hose. I still heated up the GT2 liner to maximize room for the larger 26.5" rears tires I run..
