Default Will a 997TT exhaust fit a 996TT?

I've been looking for stock exhaust to put on when my wife and I travel and found a 997 muffler for sale, I know the tips are different but is the rest of it the same? It looks similar.

Thanks,

Dan

Not without a lot of cutting and welding. Email me, I have a handful of stock exhaust and new ones.

Dan,

Depends on which one. Most of them on the market should fit. Only difference are the following:
-Mounting flanges to turbos
-Exhaust tips. The net difference between cutout on bumper is about 2" in length. So you need to extend tips 2" longer. That said, you need buy a modular exhaust. Typically on the 996, inlet to center portion exhaust goes on the top portion of the muffler, and tips exit on the bottom portion of the muffler.
On the 997, it is the opposite plus those 2 " and that is it...
