Default Fog Lights

What is the hot setup for fog light and side marker bulbs(and maybe rear bulbs)? I’ve seen posts from a few members but couldn’t relocate any useful information. I do recall some members using Silvervision and Bluevision bulbs (which I have never heard of). In particular, the fog lights yellowish tint is kinda funky combined with the litronics blue/white. Also, I could use a good source. Your thoughts on this matter are appreciated.

Check my signature - for fogs I recommend PIAA extreme white (match xenon color perfectly).
Silvervision and bluevision bulbs are made by Phillips and last I checked are not available in the US (gotta buy them from abroad - check out www.powerbulbs.com - they give you 15% off your second set of silvervisions and throw in bluevisions for free - I got mine in 5 business days from when I ordered).
Also, check my signature as I have done ALL the bulb upgrades you mention...

MSINDI,
besides the fogs (PIAA), what other bulbs did you change and type did you replace it with. I originally thought to change just the fogs (maybe the side markers, but it seems that turn signal (both front and rear) and brake bulbs (did I leave any out) are being changed as well.

I did not change brake bulbs (I do not see why you would??). I did fogs, side markers, front and rear turn signals.

I just changed my fog bulbs and went with the PIAA 5000k H3 bulbs. Although they are slightly "bluer" than my headlights, I think they look kind of cool.

Has anyone tried to see how it would look with yellow bulbs?
For some reason I like the contrast, it brings out the xenon color.
Does anyone have pictures of either blue/xenon and yellow fog lights installed?

Just an idea...

Piaa Ion crystal (yellow) 3100K

Platinum Super 3800K

Xtreme White 4150K

Super Plasma 5000K

Which one is best?

PIAA SPARK BLUE 7500K

These are next in chronological order from my previous post. They are 55W=85W output @ 7500K.

My question is, will any of these bulbs produce enough heat to damage/melt the headlamp lense or assembly, that the stock bulbs would not?

Thanks...

I currently run standard 50w bulbs on the outside and 100w on the inside for a total of 300w. I'm either gonna get the new PIAA H3 Super White #15485. they say they're equivelant to 135w each. they are 85w. I run some other piaa's in my main lights, they are strides brighter than non piaa bulbs.
I may get HID h3 lamps? that would look pretty sweet. Im debating between the 135w piaa's and a Pocket PC, or just HID's. I hate not having craploads of money

Do not put a fog that is more than 55W or you WILL melt the plastic!!
The PIAA Extreme White are 55W=85W and have the same hue as the main xenon beam...

PIAA SPARK BLUE 7500K
55W=85W output @ 7500K.

So even though these output more than 55W, these will not damage my headlamps then?

Yes!!! The PIAA way of measuring means that they use 55W but give the intensity of an 85W bulb..
