While not a Porsche show, the Concorso d'Italia at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford house in Grosse Pointe is on Saturday, Aug. 2nd. It is a nice event with a pretty good turnout of cars.

I am planning on attending anyway, but would love to meet a few rennlisters also.

I have a kart race at Grattan this weekend if any of you like that kind of thing.

Otherwise, there seem to be quite a few of us around. Perhaps that Porsche's to Pinkney thing would be a good excuse to get together.

 

Well, I do not know how close you are, but, I live in Chicago and would love to get together. I guess it will help me to finish putting break-in miles on my car

BTW what is Gingerman? and where is it? Just my thoughts but, evening may be difficult for anyone who has to commute, specifically me, old numero uno, I would have a hard time with an evening.

Gingerman is in (edited, thanks "bgainey") South Haven, Michigan. http://www.gingermanraceway.com/ I haven't looked into myself this year, but I'm told it's the same as last year. In September I went to an open session there. For $50 you get to drive from 5 to 9 pm. They had us in two run groups. I'm told that this happens all the time there, and that often it is just one run group (drive all you want). This is not a DE. There are no instructors, though there are people with experience on the track who will ride with you. VERY informal.
