We had a chance to install our 2.5 X-Pipe and capture some video this past Friday, just before a snowfall Friday night! It looks like it was the last good day of the season here - in the video, you can see snow in the mountains in the background, but now it's everywhere with another 3" predicted for tonight...anyhow, this is our 2.5" X-Pipe system, not to be confused with the 2.5 "quiet" X-cellerator internal X-Flow muffler system which has our "internal X" with perforations and SS packing enclosed at the core of the muffler.

The 2.5 X-Pipe has no mufflers, just smooth 2.5" pipe with our "X" at the center. The video is filmed with 100 cell cats, although it's available as a catless "RACE" system, as well. The sound level of the 2.5 is about 7/10 of our 3.0 X-Pipe - the 3.0 is very aggressive and sounds fantastic. The 2.5 X-Pipe is perfect for someone that wants an aggressive sounding system most of the time, but also wants to be able to drive around without drawing unwanted attention, if they desire...

The 2.5 XP takes the edge off of what I would consider a loud, exotic type sound (SpeedTech 3.0 X-Pipe, F430, Gallardo) and tunes it down a notch to an extremely sporty sound, but not quite F430 loud - it sounds absolutely fantastic! You can judge for yourself in the video link below.

Thanks. I think it sounds even better in the car.

I had a customer jokingly tell me last week that we should include a warning that gas milage will decrese after installation because all he wants to do is WOT pulls to hear the exhaust now :-) I feel confident that anyone that installs this pipe will be extremely pleased!

 

We have finished our video work with this 2.5 X-Pipe and have removed it from the car. We are now offering it for sale at a discount as a "demo", consisting of of the slightly used 2.5 X-Pipe and tips in the video with new mid-pipes and new 100 cell catalytic converters (all new clamps/hardware, too).

We can also sell it as a catless "RACE" version.
