Default Clutch Pedal Stuck To The Floor

Jumped into the car last night, stepped on the clutch, and it snapped to the floor. Popped it back up, but it feels as if there's nothing attached to the pedal. Under the dash seems to be connected properly, nothing fell out to the carpet. Fluid levels are good, and no leaks under the car. It's not the accumulator, because I had the GT-2 conversion done last year. Haven't got up under the car, but is there linkage that may have come undone above the under body panels? Anyone else with this same problem? Searches here seem to refer back to the accumulator, but that's not the case here. Thanks.

If the pressure plate fails, it will do that.

It's the slave, not the accumulator. The accumulator is there for clutch assist,so when that goes bad,the pedal actually gets hard to push.

Reads like a mechanical linkage failure of some kind.

You'll have to enlist the help of a friend to work the clutch pedal while you view the linkage action. If you believe the in cabin linkage is working ok then verify the slave cylinder extends the rod into the bell housing which presses against the clutch fork.

Broken GT2 conversion bracket

Broken throw out bearing fork

And as Jumper5836, pressure plate failure.

Are you sure that you haven't lost any fluid?

No, the garage floor is dry, and the front reservoir if full up, and dry on the outside.

Boy, any of those would suck, as I only have a few thousand miles on the car since the new clutch and slave conversion. I'm not even hard on my car either.

Quite common this I believe where others have encountered it on 964 and 993 NA cars. If you hook it back up with your toe normally it 'resets'. I can't remember the exact fault but slave cylinder rings a bell.
