Busted F hose, again....
Back in May at 40409miles, I developed a boost leak at the track. I did a pressure test and tracked it down to a busted F hose. The hose developed a split right at the elbow near the seam. I replaced it with a brand new Porsche F hose and today at the track the exact thing happened. The new hose developed a split in the exact same spot after a little more than 1600 miles. I don't think third time will be the charm and thus I'm looking at some after market options. Anyone have a suggestion for a more durable F hose? I don't want any crazy colors, just plain black and something that will be a good direct OEM fit. I plan on returning this busted one to the dealer as Porsche parts should have a 1 year warranty if I'm not mistaken. Thanks.

My Rturbo uses RUF K24 hybrids. It has a RUF ecu which runs 1.2 bar. Most miles are track miles with very little street use thrown in. I just ordered a EVOMS silicone F hose which will ship out today. It seems all the aftermarket silicone F hoses are pretty much the same so I went with the first company that answered the phone. As a side note, I've never had any issues with the stock OEM boost hoses which are actually a composite mesh encased in rubber. The stock F hose is the problem since it is just plain rubber molded from two halves. The seam is the weak point since that is normally where it splits.

the hoses all look the same but they arent. i would ask evoms what thickness in mm is the hose your buying. personally i wouldnt buy anything from evoms my experience with their products is that they make imperfect parts and charge higher than perfect prices.

I had my OEM F-hose fail the same way, replaced it with a Forge (purchased a kit while on a UK trip). I think all the after-markets are a similar 2 layer with mesh design, you shouldn't see another failure.
