On the clutch, it's the helper spring. There is a very cheap DIY that will fix that. No need to replace the whole system.

Agree with Dock. These cars shouldn't be referred to as pigs.
I thought the GT2 in 03 had those style wheels as an option but they are 12" rears and offsets are for a widebody not a GT3.

That is correct regarding GT2 wheels.

But, I think that the wheels pictured are commonly known as 'GT3' wheels with turbo (WB) offsets, and perhaps they are 11" wide in the rear not 12".(?)

Correct in that style of wheel is known as "GT3". They became the standard wheel for the GT2 beginning in 2004 and were an option for the Turbo starting in the same year. Sizes and offsets were appropriate for each model.

Cheers

They are 11' rears with hefty 30mm rear spacers

..LOL! .. and that little dog is scary as ****. looks like a very clean example, black guage faces remind me wistfully of my ol 993. not a fan of oval tips.. but the seats are killer too..

do you mind? how much did you pay for em and were they oem gt3 leather?? or did they come with the car. if so, you got some very tasteful mods. ( add: never mind.. saw the "recaro" duh )

also, i'm with you on the "pig" not necessarily being a pejorative. if you maintain the car properly, i say you should call it whatever ya want. in fact! some porsche turbo's and even certain women appreciate a fair degree of judiciously applied ( ahem ) discipline, and name calling is ok, if both parties are ok with it
so i'd venture the car will not care either. lol
