Default 996 rear arches

I want to upgrade from a C4 to a TT. Does anyone have a picture showing a 996 Carrera and Turbo from behind? How much wider is the 996TT?
My second choice may be a 2009 C4. Is the 997 body flared more than an 02 C4?
Thanks

The 996tt is about 1.5" wider than a NB car. If you just like the wide look you can save and get a C4S which is also a wide body and in my opinion better looking than the TT. But it's also heavier and slower than a C2, probably the same as your C4. The TT gets you the much better Mezger motor and more power of course, but it's pretty heavy.

Thought the C4s was faster than the C2 but slower then the Carrera S. The C4 is slower then the C2.

For 997 yes, for 996 no. I wasn't clear.

996 "S" motors were no different than non-S motors (on Carreras -- Turbo S had the X50 kit, of course.) So a C4S was a widebody, turbo brakes car with no different motor than a C2 or C4.

All the 997 have have a wider look then a narrow body 996. The only 996 that has a widebody it the TT/GT2 and the C4S, the C4 is a narrow body, which the GT3 also is based from.
In my opinion I prefer the 996 widebody to them all. Sorta has the lower rear hunches from the classic 911 look without looking like a basket ball bulbous rear end. I prefer the narrow body 997 to the widebody. I guess there is a point when big and wide it too wide, well at least for me.

+1 The rear end of the 996 WB is one of the best looking rear ends in automotive history.

Thanks. Sounds like the 996TT and the 997.2 C2, C4 are pretty close in width.
