I was actually referring to pilots in the know to compare cars on relatively equal terms but you make a good point nevertheless.

I will borrow this saying from I forget whom, describing drivers mentality; "it is very interesting that anyone who is slower than you is an idiot, and anyone who is faster than you is a maniac!
