Default GT2 front Spoiler fit

OK, so I was on Pelican Parts and they listed the following front spoilers under the 996 section and I bought the one labled "Turbo" (see image below). I have realized that the part is for the GT2 Turbo which has a slightly different front end than the "standard" 996TT. The question I am hoping to answer is will the GT2 spoiler fit? I am planing on lowering the car with coil overs and it seems like the GT2 spoiler is shorter than the "standard" one which might help with ground clearance anyway. I am assuming that returning the part will be a huge hassle and would prefer not to have to deal with it. BTW, I recently bought my 996TT and it's en-route to me so I can't simply pull the spoiler and check it. If I have to return the spoiler, I'd rather do it now so I have the parts I need when the car gets here. Thanks in advance for any help.

Based on the picture it is the wrong splitter. The clue is in the length of the sides. They are too long. To get a Porsche OEM Turbo splitter, Suncoast is the best supplier.

I've been getting the Bayless version on ebay. Perfect fit at 1/3 the cost and since i go through 1 every 9 months or so, it is a good buy.

Call pelican and return the item; hopefully, at no cost to you.

Thanks all. I kinda figured that I wound up with the wrong part. Not sure how helpful Pelican Parts will be. I'll post an update here when I find out. Also, I think my car is being delivered to me tomrrow night (Thursday 1/24). Could not be more PSYCHED!!

BTW. It's Bayson, not Bayless.

Congrats on the new Turbo. I think the splitters were designed to be semi-disposable. Really easy to replace.

Thanks much. I might give the c4s version a try since it is lower in the middle.
