FWIW 235/40/18 and 305/30/18 are the GT2 tire sizes......225/40/18 & 295/30/18 for 996 Turbo
what do the spacers weigh needed to run them on a widebody?

I also kinda like the 04/05 GT2 rims. I think they are very similar to the GT3 rims but a wider width.

I could be wrong but I thought the GT2 tire size is 315/30-18 and 235/40-18

anyway some have good luck running 305/30 19s on the 996 turbo.

I think what what NSX meant was the GT3 wheel with WB offsets, which I stated as GT2 wheels.... the WB GT3 wheels look identical to the 18" GT3 wheel counterparts, except they were made with WB offsets. SSST picked up a set from another RL'r.
I believe they are 8" front width and 11" rears....

I don't think the GT3 wheels for WB P-cars are 12" widths in the rears like the GT2 Twists... which "look" like the Turbo twists .....

You are 100% correct.

I don't think the rears are 12" widths like the GT2 Hollow Twists...

Also, I am pretty solid on the 235/40 and 305/30 GT2 tire sizes. it's been covered ...
The 04/05 GT2 wheels do not look exactly the same as the turbo offset wheels. Quite a bit more dish, especially in the rear.

The GT2 twists are not hollow, they are solid. And GT2 rear tires are 315 40 18. Check Tire Rack. I have GT2 wheels and tires on my car...

I'm also a huge fan of the stock twists, which is why I went with GT2 wheels. The offset is a bit better looking- more flush with the fenders. They quite heavy though.

CCW C10s are one of my favorites. Not too expensive and very light.

You will have to hunt around, but I think the 996 GT3 wheels (in turbo offsets) and sport technos are the best looking 18" wheels on these cars.

It took me 18 months to snag a set, but finally found the GT3s. about $2200 - $2500 is fair for wheels in good shape.

PaulUNM, TurboTodd, Just checked Tire rack for the GT2 tire sizes....it shows rears as 315/30/18....not the 305/30/18...

Also double-checked the Michelin Pilots I purchased.....315 30 18 ....

I also run GT3 wheels in wide body fitment - painted black. I love 'em.
