I didn't know you had a 997 ? I didn't know 997 had slave problems.... Cannot blame you for keeping it stock because, that's what I did! I also bought the slaves from 996TT owners who went GT2 road and I am getting really good at replacing them LOL!!!

JP.. you bought slaves from people that had gt2 converted?! to then re-use? set my peoples slaves free! lol

just kidding lol.. i love words

btw and NOT for nothin? ( and as a general statement ) : want to eliminate ALL accumulator/slave issues? disable the clutch switch at the pedal, that requires clutch engagement pre ignition. trust me

...disable the clutch switch at the pedal...
Amazingly this simple fix really does do wonders for the somewhat wonky 996 boosted clutch system, and I was hugely skeptical.

Of course it's not simply disconnecting the switch that really helps, it's not depressing the clutch pedal before/while starting the car. And unless you disable the clutch/start interlock, you must press the clutch before starting the car.

this along with a slave bleed as soon as the clutch pick up point starts to deviate will prolong replacement
