A stock factory GT2/3 LSD is set up with minuscule preload, on the order of 7 lbs or so. It's very mild. My Guard was set up with around 60 lbs of preload if I recall correctly. I do not detect any understeer on the track but I trail brake aggressively. I've never found understeer to be a problem, quite the contrary. I can't speak of super tight autocross type turns. Never done A/X. You can easily dial out any unwanted understeer with sway bars or trail braking deeper.
