Default A/C Control Display

I just noticed that when I push the Recirculate button on the A/C controller, the display does not change. Also, when I push the up and down arrows, although the air direction changes, the display doesn't change at all. Is that normal?

You should get a circle of arrows (just like are on the button) displayed when the recirculation button is selected.

You should also get the temp display from the word Lo at the coldest to some number as you go up.

If the unit is working but the display is messed up, you might want to consider ModuleMaster's $53 DIY fix:

I did it about a year ago on my 996 cab. Very thorough instructions and quite simple to do.

Sorry in advance but....
How is it that a car that originally cost well over $100k have engineers that can design it to go over 200 mph, yet can't find someone in Germany who speaks english well enough to properly spell "manual" when taking the fan control from auto to....wait for it.. ".manuell"
Always bugs me...ok, venting session over...resume the thread..
