Sounds like coolant overflow. Especially if it only happened after a heavy load. You may not have a leak...

i have had overflow from the reservoir before. that will definitely leave residue on the ground, but it's right under the reservoir lol. where could overflow come from in the front of the car? as opposed to a leak, i mean.

Found the problem....leaking rad. Didn't have the time and probably the skill to change it myself. So had to get someone to do it. thanks for all the suggestions I don't know which problem would have been worse but replacing the rad was painful enough to my wallet

Usually if it leaks at the reservoir, it means the reservoir has a crack in it. Pretty hard for the reservoir to overflow. A cracked reservoir, is a known issue on Porsche.
