Purge fan has never operated; 05' tts, has a good 5a fuse in C3. Car has a Softronic flash and fan will run if tested on 12v. Understanding the conditions that turn on the fan, I was going to troubleshoot it starting with the fan sensor, but cannot locate it. Maybe the fan was deleted in the flash?

 

just besides the power steering pump reservoir on a special bracket.
