I see you have the front bumper cover and wheels, also the hood badge. What else is RUF? did you DIY with ordered parts or have a RUF conversion shop do the work? At what point does the identity change from a Porsche to a RUF? I'm in a related business and just curious.
I have a full 02 RUF 550 Rturbo conversion that was performed at RUF back in 2006. It entailed the following:
-Engine: RUF K24 hybrid turbos & wastegates, intake manifold and inlet pipes, ECU
-RUF coilovers and adjustable swaybars, front strut brace
-RUF brakes (basically Brembo 6 pots)
-RUF wheels
-RUF wheel studs
-RUF front bumper, rear spoiler, door sills, mirrors, shifter, pedals, hood and trunk badging

If the car has a Porsche VIN it is a Porsche, a RUF VIN would technically make it a "RUF".

Default Update

I wanted to post an update as the car is about to go up for sale in the car sales section. I've enjoyed making it just about perfect in every way. It's a true one of a kind.

It was a tad higher at $79k.

Thanks for the love. It's pretty cool to show up to the average Porsche show in a paint to sample car.

What???? Your are selling that fabulous car? What? Are you nuts? Ruf cars (yes, even conversions) do not grow on trees. With what will you replace that car? Oh, the humanity. Say it ain't so.

The car will only sell for the right price which will lead into another Ruf variant. I'd love to hop into the 98 993 RUF conversion but I don't want to get ahead of myself.
