Default X50 / 51?

Anyone please tell me,what is the differet between z50 and x51?

X50 is the turbo powerkit and X51 is the kit for n/a cars (Carrera S, etc.) from what I remember.

^ Correct, x51 is not a turbo option.

i could swear i had x51 exhaust tips on my old x50 car? is it possible the tips are from the n/a powerkit package and were available on the turbo? they wouldn't use the same code twice. would they?

Yes - you could get "X51" style tips which looked like two intersecting circles. My Speedtech exhaust has larger versions of this on it now. The stock tips were like flattened ovals.

But this was not an "X51" package for the Turbo.

The X50 package was a power package for the Turbo. Larger Turbo's and Larger Intercoolers.
The X51 Package was a power package for NA cars. Included HP upgrades and aero/body upgrades.

Yes, Chrome plated stainless tips about $750.00.

Split each exhaust into what appeared to be a dual outlet finisher.

searches reveal exhaust tips for our cars with both the x51 and x54 designation. so what gives? i don't even have them any longer but these things make me... ha
