Default Can 996 tt crawl in traffic jam daily?

hi, i live in bangkok thailand, and have a chance to drive my friend 996 turbo for 2 days.but in bkk ,the taffic is not so good ,
At high speed She is a superb car! But most of the time i just crawl in low rev just like 2k on the road! My question is..is it a problem for 996 tt to drive in low rev just like 2k or 3k most of the time?
And how can i manage for this if i want to buy her to become my daily drive car? Thanks somuch.

Then, no worries. I would modify your maintenance intervals relative to your driving conditions.

Crawling in Southern California traffic in a 6 speed turbo is not enjoyable, at all.

In my opinion of course.

Agreed.

I have no problem driving my 6-speed Turbo in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic.

I picked up an 03 X50 about a month ago and have been driving it nearly everyday in traffic and have no problems at all.

I find it very difficult at low speeds... It clearly likes to be moving

My 03 Turbo 6-speed is fine in stop/go traffic. The driver is not fine, though. But the car handles it ok when I can't avoid it.

Sincerely,

Macster.

A stock 996 Turbo never has 400+ HP going to all four wheels. There is a constant 5% going to the front, with a maximum of 40%.
