Default New mods!!

So after lots of frustrations and time fixing my car I finally found and fixed all the little problems it had. Some might remember I was thinking about trading the car in, my friends convinced me of sticking with it and fixing it little by little so for the past couple of months I have been tackling one little thing at a time:
- Slave cylinder
-Fuel gauge sensor and harness
-damaged IC hose (what a pain in the *** to realize this was the biggest problem)
-other little odds and ends + some maintenance done

Since I got the car running I dropped it off at AMS Autowerks here in NJ which is a friend’s shop to spray the front bumper. He owns a very nice 993TT for which he made an XPipe and he told me he could do one for me to get rid of the straight pipes and oh boy what a difference.

Here are a few pics:

The Rennline cage is really clean looking. Is it mounted to existing brackets? It looks like the ones behind the seats goes through the carpet into the tub???
What are you noticing on the X-pipe change? Power? Sound?
Looks like a fun crew there in Jersey!!

I was reading through your posts. What was the issue with the damaged IC hose? What were the symptoms and how did you track it down?

the cage is actually made by DAS, it has the rennlist sticker on it to cover a few scratches lol it is pretty solid compared tho the agency bar and the techquipment, it is thicker and better mount positions in my opinion.

I had the FVD straight pipes and it was LOUD, it is still loud with the xpipe but it has a better tone to it and not as loud as before.

I fixed all my previous issues and the car was running fine until the I started noticing idle spikes and other little things. I cleaned the MAF and it helped but I knew there was a boost leak somewhere, It ended up being right along the coupler that goes into the driver side IC and I am guessing it was caused from removing it and messing around with it so often. I replaced the Ypipe and IC hoses with a 75mm speedtech Ypipe and that is when I noticed the damage to the OEM hose
