Camber plates tarret, what can I expect from this mod?



Hello All,

Thinking about replacing the stock units up front with Tarret Camber Plates. My tech tells me that it will further roughen my ride but that I will feel it with more crisp turn in on my TT. I have done all the RSS stuff front/rear and run adj sways ft/rear with pss10 coilovers which for now have been fine. Not concerned about a rougher ride since this car is about 90% track.

I refreshed myself by reading Mikelly's susp thread and he mentions "pillow mounts" aiding in keeping the alignment true and top struts in place under heavy load. Are pillow mounts and camber plates the same basic thing?

If there is another brand for our cars I am open to it, but, this was the one I have been told about for now. Just wondering if I will really feel any difference if I get them put on my car?

yes you will be able to tell the difference
no experience with the tarrett camber plate, but have used other of their products, and they are quality parts
