+1. Lots people can afford to buy one, but the cost of ownership can be higher than they thought, especially of they don't learn how to become handy.

So a bunch of these cars will get neglected.

jcalhoun, if you dont mind sharing, what did you end up purchasing your car for?

Funny side note, I had inquired about that car as well. The seller initially posted the wrong email address for himself, which I used to initiate contact. The guy I emailed was nice enough to forward it to the seller's correct email address. How do you mess up your own email address in a sale listing.

I might have bought that car but had trouble getting the information and photos that I wanted. My guess is that he was negotiating with you. In any event, it did seem like a nice car... congrats on the purchase.

You got a great deal but than again maybe thats really what the market will bare for these cars? Some of the owners I have talked to are 8 to 10k over Kelly which in my opinion is very optimistic judging by this most recent sale, but the owners are so stubborn they would rather sit on it. There is actually one on auto trader that has been for sale so long that its warranty had expired. The ad read something like "still under factory warranty until June of this year so still a good 6 months left of bumper to bumper coverage". lol

I can't "vouch" for them but I can promise you a majority of our vehicles are enthusiast driven and well maintained.

I tried to look at this car in Dallas before I ended up purchasing my car. The seller originally had it listed for 45k and after I contacted him, he decided to up his price to 53k. Now he dropped the price back to 49.9. Im betting that he'll end up selling it for 45. Sounds nice, but the seller is flaky...

Is that classifieds section only available to pca members? I can't find the classifieds section on the pca.org website.

The first one I already talk to the owner and its a base 03 turbo with aero kit and small carbon package. I was hoping it was a X50 car but its not. So at that price to rich for me. He just listed the car so he wasn't willing to haggle just yet and I don't blame him.

Thanks for posting those.

I did enter my membership info in the process of renewing my membership. Maybe those classifieds are for members only. Dunno.
