Hey guys... I was looking at getting a set of rotors from GiroDisc, but they are damned expensive, so I got to looking at some options. I am sick of the drilled stock rotors that may last 2 weekends before they are cracked like Humpty Dumpty! No one seems to make a regular slotted rotor for the 996tt!
Anyone running the Colemans? In 330 or 350 mm? I called there today and of course they only place orders with the specs in hand. Does anyone have the specs that for the stock rotors? What is their turnaround time? Can someone point me to a source for the longer caliper bolts and spacers to go to 350mm like the GiroDisc? Do you change to a non-stock pad when you go to the 350 set up? I have been running the the Hawk DTC 70's and I only do DE's.

They may be pricey, but I can thoroughly recommend the Girodiscs (defo no affiliation). I was also fed up with cracking discs and the options are limited and, from my research, similarly expensive!
I don't do DE days in the 996t, but appreciate the need to shed speed from time to time during a Sunday spirited drive!
I'd buy direct, given my purchase experience from the 'etailer who advertises on here a lot.

+1 for Chris at LC Motorsports. Finally someone with some slotted rotors that bolt on to our stock 996TTs. I am just now using them on the rears.
FYI, on the fronts, I went with Porsche Motorsports 6-pods and ATE 350mm Cayenne rotors and they work great. The Motorsports 6-pods are ~ $1k and the ATEs are 130 a piece. A lot of GT3 guys are using the ATEs with really long wear cycles and good results.

You can buy one piece slotted rotors from Protosport in NJ. I had a set on my car. They buy OE German blanks and have them slotted. You can run the 350 discs with your standard brakes if you use the spacers and longer bolts. I have an extra set of the girodisc spacers and bolts if you need.
