Default Nice Wheels for Arctic Silver:

Show me your wheels . . . or any awesome wheel combinations for the Arctic Silver 996tt. I am trying to visualize what color would especially compliment this color/my color Thanks.

TireRack is your friend. Any wheel they sell you can see a pretty good example of your car w/ them on it.

But I like seeing pics of these cars too so maybe you'll have a bunch posted.

My avatar shows an Arctic Silver 996 TT Cab with BBS RS GT's. I think they look great!

I like my sport techno wheels shown in my avatar. Not a silver car but you get the idea.

My car had 20"s on it when I got it 2 1/2 yrs ago. I loved the look/style of them but
1. they were cheap knock offs and I didn't trust them under high speed driving. They also seemed to be not true and round.
2. the 20" wheel is to big for the 996 which was designed w/ 18" and 19" wheels in regards to the suspension. So they would set off the PSM under certain driving conditions do the the miss reading of the size.

So I wanted to get a set of what should of been stock. I found some polished hollow spokes and choose them due to the fact they seemed to be less previlant then the 1s you have.

In fact, not seeing any on other Turbos keeps me from taking them down and having them powder coated black w/ some red trim on them in some way.

The knockoffs that was on my car looked like the HREs except the deep lip was chrome. I loved the look of those wheels! Espeacilly w/ the chrome nut heads around the wheel against the black.

I liked the element of chrome because I have silver trim on the interior amongst a sea of gray.

19's, it's really hard to get a good shot of black wheels. I'm going to try to get it in my friends studio tomorrow.
