The noise bothered me . I initially thought it was a dash rattle so i took apart the front dash cover and wedged felt between the winshield and interior dash. To no avail the creaking did not go away. Then i discovered this TSB and had the dealer order the parts, did both front and rear. Presto!!!!!!!!!! I love my car again.

I have a 2004 Turbo, would this even apply? I've got a noise coming from the top right of the rear window where it meets with the roofline/C pillar.

check the rubber seal on the outside of the rear window , it should be rock solid with no play all around, if you can move it from side to side i bet this could be your issue also. the tsb applies to both front and back windows.

Thanks, I've seen this TSB before. I have the issue of creaking around the windshield trim and used a product called Gummipflege which is a rubber seal conditioner.

The product removes the noise, but it comes back after a couple of weeks. I have always considered doing that TSB, but the fact that it states that it only applies to early production cars always threw me off. I might now take the plunge since it worked on your '03 Turbo.
