Wheel Spacers - Any ill effects?

Wheel Spacers - Any ill effects?
I wanted to grab some spacers to help pull the wheels out a bit to fill the fenderwells a bit better. Stock turbo twists on a 2001.
Will adding spacers cause any negative effects (ie weird handling, braking issues, wheel bearing wear, etc)?
What size spacers should I be looking for front and rear? I don't want to roll the fender lips...
Thanks!!

I went with 15mm on all four corners. That gives you a little over one additional inch on wheel track, which should improve stability slightly. No issues, no rolling the fenders; stock wheels just look better now.

Just added 15mm spacers front and rear, about 3 weeks ago. No issues at all and looks a lot better. I bought mine from Adaptec (Board Sponsor). Nice quality, perfect fit and the new bolts make my wheels look better, too!

SSST - I went 7mm all around with the X73 suspension and I'm very happy with the look. Much better than stock but not pushed out too far IMHO. 7mm front & 15mm back seems a real common setup but I figured on keeping the same offset ratio front to rear as stock.

5mm with low (euro gt2) height on a complete suspension upgrade. No issues.
But only 5mm. 15 mm with some tires would be ok...I think the advan AD08's would run on bumps....
