Default 996TT with no exhaust tips

recently I replaced my 9ff exhaust with the stock exhaust
unfortunetelly I have not got the exhaust tips.
can I drive the car without causing any problem on the bumper?
has anyone tried this before?

a used pair hwas bought earlir this morning but will arrive in about 6-10 days

If I remember correctly, without the tips, the pipe ends inside of the bumper fascia. I melted the fascia on an RSA when I did not pay attention to this

i drove without tips for a few months, i had a cargraphic exhaust. no problems for me

to be honest the exhaust is stock and because the bumper is off at the moment I cannot say where the pipe ends...( i believe inside of the bumper fascia as fly2low said)
and this is the reason why I am worried...
