I've noticed in spirited right turns the rear right wheel seems to kind of jerk is this the PSM kicking in.

i think its abs. its horrible. iirc that "stabbing" is the abs but obviously they work in conjunction. but i sure hate that stabbing and it happens less with the psm button off. so i'm not certain which. think its the abs tho...

On! Way too wet in the UK to risk putting it off

IMHO, no LSD makes the 6TT somewhat unstable regardless of PSM vs not...

Some of the most fun I have is driving in the wet with PSM off. The reason it's fun is because I'm not driving fast at all, or cornering at even medium speed or g. With PSM off it takes way less power to slide the rear end around a bit, when it is safe and prudent to do so. I can slide the rear end around on dry pavement too, but it takes way more power, and the higher power requires much more attention to prevent undesired consequences (and it wears the tires more too).

Easily solved with the installation of a cup car (or Guard) LSD...

Simplified route to 6TT greatness:
-Euro/track seats
-coilovers/suspension
-LSD

I leave PSM on, at the track the rear brakes tend to heat up quite a bit but the run sessions are short. Not noticing an extra rear brake wear then still seem to last longer then front pads.

The older (wiser? ) I get, the more I like to stick with factory parts whenever possible.
You know me, man. I'm the guy who upgraded the wheels with the GT2 version.

lol. LSD adds tons of stability and capability to any 911, and makes it fun too!

LSD's make the cars easy to drive 'loose' on track and put power down/make progress even while powersliding out of corners...
if you like to drive with some slip angle/make C.H. videos (lol) then you NEED a LSD...

me too! but with the wavetrac, its lifetime guarantee ultra low cost ( real value..) and lots of homework and consultation, coupled with the necessity of *potentially* one day ) having to rebuild the plates of any traditional type lsd, i said fk it. for my usage? the w'trac would be perfect, and a better word to describe it, i can't think of that thing is stellar, but I've never had a plate type on a 96t so i have no other reference point! only that this one seriously sticks lol

..and your car looks sick. i get nauseous when i see it. my gf she couldn't tell any difference btw the two. bless 'er heart.. hah!

preach! again, even though a tbd isn't *exactly* the same ( yes, i'll admit as a guard or even a cup, my TBD has utterly transformed the car and i am rwd so... but, the truth be told, i should always have gotten a gt2 in the first place, but i'm either cheap/broke or some variation of both, so I've compromised when/where i could! yet, i'm all about p'sliding out of corners. that is fun that is indescribable with this much power on a small two lane blacktop. cant do that w/out some form of rear wheel lock!

..and hey side note rob.. there's a medium high mile $150k '02 6gt2 FS right now in your neck 'o the woods. keep that sucker garaged! lol
