Doesn't the 997 have 19's? If they do, how do they do it? Or are they 18's as well?
Wheel size doesn't matter - it is the overall diameter of the tire/wheel assembly. The issue is actually with the center diff when the front and rear rolling diameters are of too great a difference. This difference in rotational speed will cause excess wear if it is too great. I have read that we should stay within 1% difference on the 996 TT (stock is 0.4%), but I have no official source for this.

The 997 TT has a revised AWD system and can handle larger rolling diameter differences front to rear. Stock front and rear difference on the 997 TT is 3%.

Cheers

Very handsome look with the Forgestars. Nice look overall. Thanks for the tip on the 19" issues.

thanks! i think your car would really look great with a titanium or hyper silver. GL whichever way you decide. just don't mess with 19's. for what. 18's and lower it. cheers.
