So what about it that it's not for you
I was looking exactly for something like this but when i couldn't find one, i decided to buy a 997 TT instead ..
This car has an RUF Turbo, brakes suspension, exhaust and wheels not to mention the CF interior etc etc so what's there not to like it
It's always better when you modify the car as a package rather then do it in stages where you do end up saving few dollars but the car never sets up right.
A low mileage TT will easily set you back atleast high 40's, so the question you need to ask yourself is, can you get all those RUF parts or similar parts and have them installed for $10,000... My answer would be .... Nope not happening...
Suspension used: close to $2000
Exhuast used : Close to $2500 ( a good exhaust)
Tune: Atleast $1500
Plugs install: $700
Brakes used: $2000 atleast
Wheels/tires: $2500 atleast
Installing Brakes/exhaust/suspension atleast another $1500
Total for used parts: Close to $13,000
Time to look for used parts and to get them installed: What can i say
Bottom line is: It's a great car that's already sorted out so why look for excuses for not buying it...
Hope my post helps some one get this RUF car....

C2 Turbo,
You highly underestimate the costs for a Ruf R Turbo conversion. I'm no expert on the R Turbo (the 993 version is the Turbo R), but to convert to a basic Turbo R is around $50,000. That does NOT include suspension, brakes, body changes, seats, etc. Those are all options, and Ruf is not known for selling anything for bargain pricing. I believe the owner of this R Turbo mentions $200,000 as the original price.

Steve,
That breakdown is ofcourse for generic used parts that float around in the market..... RUF parts, as we all know, are so hard to come by...
This is a great car and some one would be very lucky to own it

Are you an auto broker scrubbing the forums for cars?
You have 99 posts of cars you are selling or looking for. Put it in the right forum: Want to Buy or For Sale. Personally I don't think you should use Rennlist for your own eBay store or whatever you have going on. It certainly isn't in the spirit of "membership".

Here are some pics of R Turbos from the RUF factory in Germany. The yellow R Turbo was used in the most recent RUF DVD Nurburgring lap where it was driven again by Stefan Roser like the original video in the 80's. That car was also driven by Derek Bell for some RUF promotional event and he even sighed the car under the headlight. The one off Riveria Blue R Turbo convertible is owned by a Saudi Prince and is registered to Cannes, France. All these cars are RUF VIN's except the white R TurboS which is a full 590hp conversion with even the rear scoops which was from the middle east.

Wow those RUFS are sexy!!! Mine was love at first site!! and 996 Carrera is right with 550hp and 575tq there is not much on the road that can beat me. My friend works for Ferrari and I have pulled away from any of the models I have raced. Once boost is in the car is downright violent fast...yet when driving mild the car is a docile daily driver
ca993 twin is right the upgrade to a 550 RUF plus the car total was ~210 K!!! and yes I have receipts..Thats why at 63K for a car under 50k kms I feel I am offering an amazing deal.
I am not sure who Cannon1000 is reffering to but I have only ever posted this car for sale. Ever! Maybe Im mistaken and your reffering to someone else
