^^They are available. You'll need to use hub rings, Forgestar center caps and new lug bolts. We have many 911 owners tracking these wheels with no issues. No need for the thread jack.

So I am hijacking a thread when I am pisting a product that has 18" available and can customize to whatwever your needs without hub rings and accepts Porsche center caps. I don't think that is hijacking just showing another company that can provide a wheel without any caviats! Sorry if you think I hijacked, I have noi association with the company I posted!

You're comparing a custom low pressure cast wheel to a forged wheel brand. If customers are willing to spend over 5,000 on a set of wheels, we will redirect them to custom forged wheels.

The site I referenced will not cost you $5,000 in fact I bought a set of custom 3 piece wheels and they cost me a few under $4,000 shipped.

These wheels should also fit the 993 wide bodied cars (C2S, C4S, Turbo). Perhaps a post over on that forum will be useful? Seems like a nice wheel at a great price.

The wheels in this thread are mid 1,000$ for a set. Congratulations on getting an amazing deal on a set of 3 piece forged wheels.

i just found i've had three (3!) wheel bolts snap! using the forgestar f14's in 18" with the hub ring inserts, and am very curious to know how/why. obviously i am very concerned given the speeds my car is capable of and the driving style i have. snapping wheel bolts at speed is no joke. what was the cause of this potentially catastrophic failure, i'd really like to know. i have a lot of power to the wheels, but this is beyond the pale.

Did you use the bolts supplied by Forgestar? We've had issues with their bolts at the track and recommend using a different source if you will track the car.

i certainly did. not happy. going to actually visually inspect the bolts in a few. friggin dangerous. does forgestar know of their supplied bolts propensity to fail?! incredible, if so. or even if they don't "know". i don't track, but drive fast canyons quickly. i think i know the moment of hard acceleration that may have snapped them. i discovered the issue right after a hard run.

For anyone interested... Just got to techs and checked out my bitchin' forgestar chromed chinese wheel lug bolts and they sheared ( 2 completely in half ! ) and one cracked all the way down the middle. nice.

No discernable damage to wheels or the inserts but:
My advice; do NOT use their piece o sh#t Chinese bolts on these wheels. New lug bolts installed, made in the good ol USA. God bless America! Dammit
