I ran Hankooks on my last car and liked them for general city and commuting to work driving. They work well in the rain too. For performance/spirited driving they are okay, predictable, quiet, but quite a heavy tire.

I just made the switch over to Hankooks this year, since my PS2 rears got destroyed on stock ride height. Like others have said, it takes some time for them to break in but very happy with the tires and can't beat the price!

Michelins are over 2x the cost of Hankooks. Are you getting 2x of everything (performance, life, noise, etc) out of the Michelins?

Well I can attest that the Hankooks are fine on the HWY with triple digit speeds, no wondering! If you really want Michelins and get the performance then I suggest not to use the PS2 but the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. The Ps2 for the front have lower load rating than the kooks. So can't see how the Michelins are a stiffer tire. Sidewall stiffness is part of the formula to increase load rating. With that said, the kooks have 2 ply polyester. sidewalls, the Michelin PS2 1 ply rayon.
Michelin has great marketing, and is seen as a race sponsor which dictates the price more than the product.
