Just had to replace my battery today and now I need the radio code. Is there anywhere I can get it other than the local dealership?

Mine's an 04 with the nav. I didn't need a code when I replaced the battery. I've been told that the PCM/nav units retain the code for a few hours without power, and I've also been told they don't need a code.

Either way, I didn't have a problem.

Do a google search and you'll come up with a source for your code. Or Loren on renntech can also tell you what it is. It's pretty easy to find out which sorta makes have a code useless.

Loren helped me. I posted a request and within 30 minutes, he sent me the correct code. What a relief.

http://www.radio-code.co.uk/becker-radio-codes.html

Or this site:

on the 03 and up the most radio code is stored in the ecu and not required to be entered. It's one of the benefits of the most system. I've disconnected my battery many times with no issues

I think you're right. I didn't lose my codes either.
