If you don't care to use stock then there are several "bling" (for the street but geared for the track) setups that will set you back quite a bit but sure do look good in the process.
Girodisc, Brembo, PFC, etc, make some great aftermarket setups.
For driving on street only, the best for the car is the stock stuff. At no point would I even consider anything other than that. It's the only thing stopping your car so no need to skimp to save a few bucks (or to splurge a few bucks) on an "OEM" aftermarket street setup or performance street setup.
Here is the combos I would use:
1. Street Only? Stock pads and rotors
2. Track Only? Aftermarket performance rotors like Brembo, Girodisc, PFC. Aftermarket performance pads like PFC (awesome pad!) or pagid only.
3. Street and Track? Stock rotors for both. Stock pads for street and Aftermarket pads for track.

Seriously.
My 03 has over 70K miles on its original brakes. When it comes time to renew the brakes factory pads/rotors/hardware will be used.
Sincerely,
Macster.
