If I currently have a sportec tune and my only other mod might be a stage 1 europipe am I better off just staying with stock k24 turbos or is there enough benefit to warrant modifying my k24s to k24/18g if all I'm really looking for is some additional HP and decreased lag. The most I will be doing is around town driving and the occasional kick-down when appropriate. I've seen some opinions that the k24's plus a tune will decrease lag, and there is no real benefit to the k24/18g turbo upgrade unless one intends to explore hp above the ~530 range. Also, if k24/18gs will make a difference, does anyone have any suggestions for the best shop to upgrade the turbos? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
