Default bayson r front lip

Did some research, went ahead and purchased a Bayson r polyurethane front lip and it arrived the other day...

Totally doesn't fit!

Instructions say it needs to be heated and weather in Denver has been mid 80's. Just putting it up against the bumper, its easily 3 inches short on each side...

Bayson won't get back to me via email .. suggestions ???

Interesting. Mine was an absolutely perfect fit. Of course i live in Houston and the temp was well above 80. It took 5 minutes to swap it out with the old one. I know Dell had the same experience. Are you sure you have a stock bumper?

Can you post pictures? Since it's a molded piece, I can't imagine how one would come out of the mold 6" short.

I'm confused by this also... My Bayson splitter was a perfect fit and took a whopping 2 minutes to install right out of the box!

Mine fit perfect. The lay out in the heat requirement is because it is poly and it will allow you to work out any bends, etc., from shipping. Putting it out in the sun will make the material softer making install a snap and then when it is installed it will form to the shape installed.

You really need to post us pics of the lip and your bumper (preferably together) or we have no way to help out.

Yes, I do believe I have the stock bumper.

The other pictures will show the bumper sitting with only the center tab on the lip lined up with the bumper. The curvatures on both sides are about an inch in which doesn't allow the lip to sit..
The second picture still has the tab lined up and I'm pushing on the corner of it to make it get closer..

That looks like a GT2 bumper, not the stock TT. The TT bumper does not have the side of the bumper extended like your pic shows. The black splitter you have is for the tt bumper.

Agree. That isn't the TT bumper. Look at the one in my avatar.

+1. That is not a Turbo bumper. It is either an OEM or aftermarket GT2 bumper. This is the reason your lip doesn't fit properly. Looks like you need to sell it to another RL'er as they sold you exactly what they advertised.
