Default C4S splitter on 996TT

Hi Guys,

Has anyone done this and also can I have some pics please.

Cheers

Sunil

PS Reason for doing this is because the turbo one grounds out everywhere!

Absolutely, you can use the C4S on the Turbo. Many guys do to still get some bumper protection while gaining a little more ground clearance. The arrows highlight the major differences.

One question I have concerning the C4S lip verses the 996TT is to do with the aerodynamic part that sticks out on the side that is only present on the 996tt lip.

Is this to provide extra downforce on the front? If so is this something we should be considering when going to the C4S lip.

It probably doesn't make a lot of difference until you hit 140 on a sweeper at the track. For street driving, I can't see it having a huge impact.

The Turbo one reduces lift but not in the amount you would notice driving around town or even haulinkraut on the highway. For the track, if you have high speed sweepers, then absolutely you want the Turbo splitter to compliment the rear wing in it's extended position.

Check out the aftermarket TT lips available on Ebay for $100.00. Excellent quality, fit and finish. Been track tested to 138MPH, and the same one has been on my car for over 2 years. The company is Bayson R Motorsports.
