Default Robert's 996 Turbo S w/ Evoms GT700++.. 672whp on 93 Octane..

We had the pleasure of working on Robert's car and adding the final touches to his already potent setup done by TKX Performance in NY.. Taso's work was perfect on this car but it just needed some minor maintenance since the car has been down in FL from NY.. Coils, Plugs, Fluids etc..

While Robert & I got to talking the minor service turned into some bolt on performance upgrades as Robert had a thirst for some more power.. The car had a built motor done by TKX w/ 3071 Turbos .. We decided to add on some ETS 3.5" Intercoolers w/ Silicone hoses, IPD Plenum & 74mm TB, EVOMS 775 Upgrade kit w/ Crank pulley & Coils..

We had to change coils and plugs to baseline the car as it would not make a clean pass.. Below is the dyno sheet in SAE w/ the baseline vs. upgrades with new tune.. I didnt baseline the car with the TQ hooked up.. We just tossed it on the dyno to get the HP to know where we started at.. As you can see the RED line is the baseline and Blue line was our final #'s on 93 octane.. Nearly 150whp gained on top w/ the custom tuning by EVOMS and the added parts... Trust me you can feel it on the highway..

Very nice!

By the way (and sorry for the off topic) do you know what front screens those are? I'd like something like that in black.

straight 93 octane pump gas.. Boost was 20psi.. It actually made 638@15psi.. which would be pretty ideal for daily driving..

Congrats... Todd certainly knows what he is doing with these vehicles. I am still speechless with the performance he coaxed out of my car with his new E85 tune which he claims is relatively conservative. Could not be happier with Todd and EVOMS at the moment! Kevin

Todd delivers the goods.

What kind of horsepower/torque numbers is your car producing?

Dock, I have not been over here much but have had a chance to truly run this car to its limits the past few years. I dont really have time for the backstory but suffice it to say E85 has produced more with less.... more tq, less boost and less rpm. To say that I am excited that the government now subsidizes my race fuel is a wild understatement!

Excuse the newbie question, but I'm looking at the chart, and I see three lines. The red and blue lines really don't diverge till after the car is past 75 mph. I love to see power increases, but an increase where it is truly only starting at 75, and really peaks at 124 mph results in additional power that is really only usable at the track, and only at high speed at that.

What is the third line? Is that a different dyno run? That line surely shows a power increase that is a 50% increase at 40 mph, and it charts clearly above the post mod line until 85 mph, when it crosses the blue line.

The red line represents power and is from the base run, done before the changes to the tune. He didn't record torque on the base run. The two blue lines are from the dyno done after the additional modifications; one line is power and the other is torque.

The run was probably done in 4th gear, so to see where the power and torque are being made relative to RPM, speed has to be converted to RPM using the overall gear ratio, tire diameter, and specific speed in MPH.
