Default Plenum... worth the investment??

Opinions please. Any difference between AP and IPD ? Is one better than the other or is it more personal preference?

The stock plenum is pretty good, the only reason I see to change it is if you are running bigger turbos

I have the AP TB and plenum. It is nice and I am spooling about 200 rpm faster then before.

Do this after you have big turbos, and larger inlet pipes and y-pipe. Search on my install thread on 6speed.

Nope. Take them off and get some 18g's, larger injectors, bigger IC's and all hard pipe to the turbos and IC's, a new y-pipe, THEN do the plenuim.

Just a piece of advice, if you are doing upgrades, pick one tuner and stick with them for all the parts. Switzer, Markski,EPL,EVOMS,UMW ect.

Agree...x 100. These "additions" can actually cost a lot of HP/tq....and possible screw up the car.

Plus by choosing one vendor, there is less finger pointing, AND you develop one relationship that helps with support/troubleshooting.

Good advice to stick with one tuner, as it will save you money in the long run.

Kudos !
